Neocities offers tutorials here and, they seem okay.
In reference to the available Neocities HTML tutorials, they are promising. Granted, it only has like, 1 course, and due to how it's laid out it just allows for you to control+c and control+v to finish the tutorial. It is a decent start, helps you format your site and is overall pretty good because it can also update your site for you. Do I like it? Not particularly, but I also don't dislike it. The format is nearly perfect to help you learn:
- it creates an easy-to-understand environment where all you need to do is type simple commands
- it makes the process fun through the usage of comic panels and a helpful cat companion, "Penelope"
- it allows you to update your website right at the very end, just after you completed the course, allowing you to have a nice and clear understanding of how exactly you are editing the website and implementing it right away in a functional way
- very accessible. I think I could teach my senior citizen grandma to code using a similar process (she was born at the beginning of the baby boom, so it would definitely be hard to do that)
